There are two threaded studs on the front of the power distribution box (closest to the front bumper) that will need to have the 12-V feed to the trailer connector and the power feed to the brake controller connected if they aren't already. As you've likely found, GM decided to save the $ 0.25 it would have cost them to supply the nuts needed to secure the wires to the studs. Most pin boxes, like the common Lippert 1621 # LC1191191, have a solid connection to the king pin and can be secured to the Demco Hijacker Autoslide # DM8550034 via the built-in brackets. Since the MOR/ryde pin boxes have a unique connection to the king pin the Locking Plate # DM6025 is needed so that the pin box can remain secure.

Since you cannot verify the exact pin box model on your fifth-wheel trailer, you will need to measure to determine the correct fit for a Sidewinder King Pin with Rotating Turret. I've attached our help guide article for identifying your pin box.
